Little Hearts of Hope

Kerri Steele, born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, moved to Texas after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She is the mother of three children and a passionate advocate for children's mental health accessibility. After her husband’s three-year battle with terminal cancer, he passed away in 2012. Kerri is the founder and executive director of Little Hearts of Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting children ages 4-14 nationwide by teaching creative expression as a healthy coping skill. Additionally, she runs a cottage bakery specializing in gourmet king cakes during Mardi Gras and is set to publish her first children's book soon.
