Crime Prevention Month

Austin Roach began his career with The Town of Little Elm in 2013 as an IT Intern before joining the police department in 2020. Currently assigned to the Office of Community Partnerships since 2024, Austin holds an Intermediate Peace Officer License and serves as the LEPD Honor Guard Coordinator. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a degree in Leadership, complemented by minors in History and Military Studies. Known for his social media presence in the LEPD, Austin has garnered over 2 million views in campaigns promoting community and safety. Additionally, he has been a member of the Texas Army National Guard since 2014, currently holding the rank of Captain within the 111th Engineer Battalion based in Abilene.
