Little Elm Rotary Club will partner with LEISD School Board and help to build bunk beds for needy children in the area. This event is co-sponsored by Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP), a non-profit dedicated to building beds for children in need. To date, they have delivered 200,000! You can find out more about them here: https://shpbeds.org/
Rotarians wanting to participate should meet at the Bus Barn near Walker Middle School no later than 7:30am. Must have an active mind and body and be social. We will be building beds for needy children in our area who are sleeping on floors. We will be cutting wood, drilling holes, sanding, assembling the head/foot boards, side rails and slats; staining and branding.
Rotarians should signup under the LE Rotary Club event tab as well as register at the following link: https://volunteer.shpbeds.org/opportunities/ZC3xpJrhQk
Rotarians could be assigned to any of the tasks above. If you are uncomfortable with anything assigned, please let the leads know.
